  • What is the volume of my box?

Our Standard account users get 20 Mb. Premium plan subscribers have 75 Mb boxes. You can also order account of any volume.

  • Is there any limit on the size of messages and attached files that I can send and receive?

S-Mail® does not limit the size of the outgoing messages. This size is limited by the receiver's box requirements only. However, if the size of a message with the attached files exceeds the volume of your box it will not be saved in the "Sent" folder.

Also, you will not be able to receive any messages whose size (text of a letter plus attached file) together with other letters in your box, exceeds the allowed volume. In order to avoid this we advise you to regularly clear all unnecessary messages from your box.

  • How can I prevent my box from being over quota?

Do not forget to delete unnecessary letters and keep an eye on your "Trash" folder. You can delete a specific message or a group of messages, or just clear the "Trash" folder completely by pressing the "clear" link on the right of the "Trash" folder in your S-Mail web-interface.

  • Can I receive HTML-letters?

Yes, you can. But for security reasons every message which contains HTML data is automatically converted into an attached file. After that you can open it as a common attached file.

It is done in this way because HTML messages running in the HTML native environment (web-based interface) are potentially harmful - they may contain a virus or malicious code to be executed while opening a message.

  • Why do HTML-messages become attachments?

In S-Mail all email messages are encrypted and thus cannot be checked for viruses and malicious content. In order to keep our service as secure as possible, we need to convert all HTML messages (excluding links and email addresses) into attachments. This prevents your system from automatically running malicious code inside an HTML file.

  • I cannot receive letters from some email services, for instance Yahoo.com. What could be wrong?

Unfortunately, several email services, for example Yahoo.com, do not try to block spam within their service. Therefore, with our anti-spam system on, some letters sent from these services cannot be received by S-Mail users. If you want to receive letters from one of these services, such as Yahoo.com, then you will need to turn our service's RBL anti-spam filter off.

Enter the proper information in the appropriate fields (First name, Last name), and it will be indicated in the "From:" field of all your outgoing messages. Always press the "Save Changes" button after editing your "Options".
